Childrens Chance held a street collection in The Maltings, Salisbury on Saturday 16th December 2006. Thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their Christmas shopping time to collect. It was a great opportunity to distribute flyers and collect money and to sport brand new sashes! Pictured are Tony Miller and Christine Vale.

Steven Isserlis gave another performance on behalf of Childrens Chance on 8th January 2006 at Trafalgar Park. Our grateful thanks go to him, Ana-Maria Vera, Michael Wade, The John Lewis Partnership, Richard Seal, Daphne Moody and all involved in a magnificent afternoon in memory of the late Elfrieda Case.

'Awards For All' grant

Childrens Chance was awarded £3000 early in 2006 to fund a part time development post for one year. This was held for a short time by Jane Miller, but Jane has now reverted to her former role as Honorary Chair and Trustee.

Sandra Broad was then appointed by the Trustees to the position of Acting Director. Sandra had responsibility for the second phase of the development objectives which involved outreach to schools in surroundng towns and villages including Andover, Devizes and Ringwood.

The project finished in early 2007 and the charity continues to be managed on a voluntary  basis.
